I am an established HR professional with over 16 years’ experience in human resources management and qualified to master’s level through the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I am also an accredited Mediator and Coach.
I have worked in a variety of small and large organisations including the NEC Group, Balfour Beatty, Amey plc, Valeo Service UK, Mitchells & Butler and Scottish & Newcastle. Having lead teams both operationally and strategically as part of a senior leadership team, I decided to set up an HR consultancy firm to provide support to organisations that either can’t afford their own dedicated HR team, or for those that just need some independent HR support to complement their existing team. Having worked as a trusted partner for business leaders to deliver organisational objectives that drive revenue and profit through effective people development plans, I am confident Astley Reed will be able to help you and your organisation.

Lainey specialises in developing individuals through one-to-one coaching. Lainey’s passion for coaching is that it provides a unique and highly personalised learning opportunity for an individual to identify and attain their true potential.
Lainey has a wealth of experience in individual, team and leadership development. With a breadth of experience across numerous sectors, both in a corporate capacity and as a consultant, Lainey has had extensive insight into a wide range of business cultures and diverse employee populations. She has a warm, positive and practical approach, one of her greatest strengths is building rapport and she is quickly able to put people at their ease and create a safe and productive learning environment.
Lainey is an accredited coach through the Henley Management College and also a CIPD graduate. Lainey is accredited in Emotional and Social Competency Intelligence (ESCI) 360 feedback, DiSC profiling and a qualified NLP Master Practitioner and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner step 1 and 2.
